Attorney Linda L. Northrup was just named a 2014 Trusted Advisor.
The San Fernando Valley Business Journal presented the award before 350 guests at the Hilton Hotel in Universal City on Aug. 20, 2014. The event honored the top 20 accountants, bankers, attorneys, insurance professionals and wealth managers in the San Fernando Valley, of which Ms. Northrup was one.
Ms. Northrup, a founding partner of Northrup Schlueter, was admitted to the California Bar in 1981 and founded the firm as a sole practitioner in 1996. She has been representing individuals and institutional clients in sophisticated business, real estate and construction matters for her entire legal career.
She is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Women Lawyers’ Association of Los Angeles and Business Litigation Inn of Court and was named a Super Lawyer in 2007 and 2011.
In addition to her legal affiliations, Ms. Northrup serves on Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County’s Board of Directors, serves as vice chair of the City of Agoura Hills Planning Commission, is a member of the Los Angeles County Community Emergency Response Team and supports the Wounded Warriors Project and People Assisting the Homeless.
Ms. Northrup earned her B.A. at UC Los Angeles in 1978 and graduated from the UC Hastings College of Law in 1981.
