Website, app and game to connect brides-to-be with vendors in Dallas, Fort Worth.

Dream Weddings Ltd will showcase its revolutionary social media platform, designed to better connect wedding vendors and brides-to-be, at the Dallas Bridal Show this month.

Using geo-targeting, Dreamwedding enables brides-to-be to find local vendors, compare services and costs and earn discounts for points earned in Dreamwedding’s free-to-play social media game. The game works together with the Dreamwedding.com online vendor directory and Dreamwedding’s iOS app.

Digital Capital’s W. Todd Tribell, who also serves as Dream Weddings’ Chairman of the Board, commented that “Thus far we are extremely pleased with our investment.  In our dawn, we’re seeing our social media page surpassing that of some of our rather well established competitors.” He also mentioned that he was pleased Dream Weddings Ltd. concluded an agreement with Bentonville, Arkansas based Arsco Consulting to be an independent North American advertising consultant.

Arsco Consulting will demonstrate the Dreamwedding website, app and game at booth No. 245, at the 25th Annual Dallas Bridal Show. The show runs 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on July 26 and 27 at 2100 Stemmons Freeway in Dallas.

Dream Weddings Ltd is launching its global platform in Dallas and Fort Worth this month. After initially launching in Ireland, the Dreamwedding platform will debut in Texas before expanding to cover the rest of North America over the course of 2014.

Players join the game to plan weddings for virtual brides and earn points. As players choose items (including gowns, shoes, venues, flowers, cakes, DJs and more), they can discover and compare local products and services. As they progress through the game, players can redeem points for discounts at real vendors for their own weddings. Bridesmaids can transfer their points to the bride to help earn additional discounts.

Dreamwedding vendors benefit by being able to more directly target brides-to-be who are living or planning to get married in their geographical region. By becoming a Dreamwedding vendor, wedding industry professionals can update their profiles, services and products in the Vendor Directory, app and game.

“Using games and social media is a completely unique proposition for both brides and vendors,” said Chris Klug, co-founder of Dream Weddings Ltd. “We’re excited to have signed up many of Ireland’s top wedding businesses prior to our launch there, and look forward to doing the same in both the United States and Canada.”
